Pets requiring more intensive treatments and care will be referred to the in-patient hospital of PineRidge Pet Care Hospital and Wellness Center, at the Andover location.

Dentistry

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. In addition, the service provides a dental x-ray unit and advanced dental surgical equipment for extraction and other advanced dental procedures.

Endoscopy Services

High-tech fiber optics permits direct visual examination and biopsies of your pet’s gastrointestinal system. This allows for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral, esophageal, stomach, colon and even upper intestinal tract disease. Foreign objects can also be removed without the need for surgery.

End of Life Services

Humane euthanasia is available for patients that are no longer experiencing a reasonable quality of life. Cremation options are available as a mortuary service. The Pet Care center can refer clients to a Pet Cemetery. The Pet Care center will also provide grief counseling.

Hospitalization Services

Hospitalization Services provide various levels of hospital care for pets that are best treated under the supervision of a veterinarian or veterinary nurse technician. The facility provides closed circuit monitoring of patients and the facility is staffed on an as needed basis 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Patients in need of intensive care may require transportation to a qualified intensive care provider.

Radiology

Radiology (or X-rays) help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular (cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems. PineRidge Pet Care uses a Board Certified Radiologist to interpret all or our radiographs.

Short-Stay Hospital Care

Short Stay Services offer both Wellcare and Problem Focused Examinations for pets. Morning drop off appointments are available Monday - Friday. This service may be integrated with the Pet Salon.

Special Care Boarding

Special Care Boarding is available for pets that may need special attention while their family has gone away or for pets who have been discharged from the hospital but special care is still needed. The facility provides rooms rather than runs and each pet is treated as if it were at home, complete with closed circuit TV monitoring and a television to keep your pet company during their stay. Cats can stay in a kitty condo with a full view of the wild bird feeder just outside their window. This service is ideal for pets who may be on medications or who are convalescent following an injury or illness. Pets are cared for by qualified pet care attendants and if needed, a veterinary nurse technician will be available for certain medications. The veterinary hospital staff is also available on an on as needed basis.

Surgery

Surgery Services provides wellness procedures such as Spay and Neuter. In addition, the surgical service provides advanced surgical techniques for a variety of conditions that affect pets including tumor excision, wound closure, fracture repair and other advanced surgical techniques that may require a board certified veterinary surgeon.

Ultrasound

This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available. A board certified radiologist interprets all of our ultrasound images.
